How to Create a Life Strategy Even When You Feel Stuck

If you want an extraordinary life, you need to have an extraordinary strategy for living it.

You can’t succumb to fear and you can’t just hope that everything is going to be ok.

Your life strategy is shaped by your beliefs, values, personal management system, and therefore the decisions and choices you make about how you spend your time, energy, money, skills and other resources.

I’m all about specifics, but even if you have a general one, you won’t feel stuck because you have a direction, you have a goal you’re working towards.

Here’s the thing…

You either have your own goals, or the goals of other people.

You either are the driver, or you’re the passenger with someone else at the wheel.

The one thing I want you to take away here, is that YOU ALWAYS HAVE A CHOICE and YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF YOUR DESTINY

Okay, that was two things, but seriously.

The Elements of Your Life Strategy

Wellness 360 WheelThese are the elements of your life strategy based on the Wellness 360 philosophy that I use with with my clients and in my own life.

  • Mindset – Your mindset and your personality
  • Body – Taking care of your physical body
  • Learning and Development – your competencies and skills
  • Relationships – the one with yourself, your partner, your loved ones, and beyond
  • Finances – Meeting your basic needs, your money beliefs, abundance mindset
  • Career strategy – work, work-life balance, action and impact – if you’re running a business, this also about your brand, your marketing, all of that good stuff.
  • Rest – self care, restoring and receiving
  • Air – breathing and letting go
  • Sun – personal power, sunshine, inflammation
  • Spirituality – your energy, the way you connect with yourself and with others,
  • Hobbies and having fun strategy
  • Food – your eating habits, awareness and nourishment
  • Water – drinking, your emotions, flow
  • Purpose – your authenticity, feeling fulfilled

Wellness 360 Explained

Before I talk about Wellness 360, let me define what Wellness is.

Wellness is a state of being; it’s an active process of becoming aware of and making choices towards a happy, healthy and fulfilling life.

To do that, we need to understand that everything in life is connected – all of those life elements are connected to your overall well-being – how you feel, your health, and your happiness and fulfillment.

I learned this philosophy as part of my training with the International Association of Wellness Professionals, where I got certified as a Wellness Coach.

If you know me, you know that I always say:

Vision is the destination, strategy is the pathway there, and YOU are the key to make it happen.

The first and most important part of your life strategy is YOU.

You have to make a choice of how much you will bother with yourself and your goals and how much you will just go with the flow.

Make a choice to take a chance and forever change your life

Your Mindset & Personality

It’s your choice whether you will live your life with the growth mindset or the fixed mindset and that’s probably the key decision you have to make in your life.

  • What is your life vision, your mission?
  • What are your values?
  • How well do you know yourself?
  • What is your mindset – is it fixed or growth? Scarce or abundant? Reactive or proactive? Negative or positive?
  • What traits do you have and do they represent those of successful people?
    • Are you resilient?
    • Are you persistent?
    • Are you confident?
  • Who are your role models?

Your Body

The next important element is about taking care of your physical health…

When you feel stuck, you tend to feel fatigued and it may just be because you’re not moving your body or taking care of it in the best way.

Your body is your vessel that carries your soul and allows you to experience the world.

  • How are you choosing to take care of it and nourish it?
  • The more you take care of your body, the better you feel, the more energy you have, the longer you will probably live, and so on.
  • Do you take time to rest?
  • What is your posture? Your body language?
  • How often do you exercise?
  • What’s your relationship with food?
  • How do you deal with anxiety?
  • Do you smoke/drink/do drugs?

Learning And Development

We are in an age of self-education – If you’re looking for a formal career like a doctor or dentist, you need more formal education.

That being said, and I can speak from both perspectives, self-education is the new norm. Formal education isn’t enough to develop your competencies and skills.

I went from 10+ years in Wealth Management back to school to do a post-grad MBA and CPA and onto the world of entrepreneurship, building my own business from the ground up.

I even created my own Wellness for Wealth Academy where I’m constantly adding new courses to help you make the life you say you want a reality.

As an entrepreneurial woman, I know you want to make an impact. I know you are ambitions and have had tremendous success.

I know you want to create a business, and in this day and age, an online business that helps you live more on purpose with time freedom and money freedom.

I know because that’s the kind of women who I work with and that’s why you’re here with me, reading this.

Relationships

Who you surround yourself with matters.

How you speak to and treat yourself matters.

  • How have you dealt with challenges you faced as a kid?
  • What kind of partner do you want?
  • Do you want marriage?

All these things impact your overall well-being and your life strategy

Finances

Finances – which by the way we’re focusing on in April as part of the Wellness 360 framework – are key to your Financial Wellness and overall well-being

They can be a source of fear and anxiety if you don’t have the right mindset or positive relationship with money.

  • How will you make money?
  • What types of income will you have – active, passive, portfolio?
  • How much do you save?
  • How much will you spend?
  • Will you rent or own a home?

Ok, I’ll touch on one more…

Career

This was the life element we focused on this month. Your money and earning potential are very much connected to your career and achievements, and your ambition.

As an entrepreneurial woman, you need to know your business – what can you teach or deliver to others that no one else can?

You need to know your…

  • strengths and what you are good at
  • mission, vision, values
  • business and financial objectives
  • who your ideal client is
  • what you offer
  • brand
  • marketing
  • sales strategy

… all these things are fundamentals I teach within the Soulful Business Blueprint that is part of my Make It Happen Mentorship.

We start with YOU – getting you into peak state and then when you’re ready, you learn the basics of how to create an online business.
