On Tuesday, I aired Episode 45: Using the Power of Numerology to Elevate your Business Success with special guest expert Jo Soley.
We discussed and explored three main questions surrounding the discipline of numerology and how it can be used to impact your life and business in a positive way.
If you did not have the opportunity to tune in or you’re still not quite sure what numerology is, let me see if I can shed some light from our chat.
What is Numerology?
So, numerology is the study of numbers, and when put into action by an expert, it can be used to uncover information about the world and ourselves as individuals.
Numerology is seen as a universal language of numbers and each of us have our own “life path number.”
What’s Your Life Path Number?
You can calculate your life path number by adding up the numbers in your full date of birth. For example, April 4th 1992, would be 4 + 4 = 8 + 1992 = 2000.
Now you add the digits of 2000 together as 2 + 0 + 0 + 0 = 2.
But what does it mean? Well, according to Jo, our life path number is the most important number.
It allows us to foresee the path our life could take and reflects who you are, or should be, in your personality and traits.
I am always talking about finding clarity and self-discovery, and this is one of many methods to uncovering the truth about yourself as well as your strengths and weaknesses.
A life path number also outlines any opportunities or challenges you may face, as well as any lessons you may have to learn along the way.
How Can Numerology Up-Level My Life and Business?
According to Jo, if we tune ourselves into the universe and closely study the recurring numbers that pop up in everyday life, we can begin to uncover patterns and sequences.
These equations can be used to predict and calculate success or failure, offering us an extra layer of strategy in business.
Okay, so let us explore one example of how numerology can help our business.
Let’s say you want to go to a social event in the hopes of expanding your network. To gauge the success of this particular decision, take the date of your networking event, for example April 6, 2020, and follow this calculation:
- The month is April, which is the 4th month = 4
- The day is 6
- The year is 2020
- Add up the digits of all of these numbers: 4 + 6 + 2020 = 2030
- Reduce this number to a single digit by adding its digits: 2 + 0 + 3 + 0 = 5
- The numerological vibration for the day of your event (April 6, 2020) is a 5.
According to numerologists like Jo, the number 5 is associated with change, freedom and adventure. That sounds like an ideal set of descriptors for a networking event!
However, 5 is also a day to expect the unexpected, which I interpret as keeping an open mind to new people and experiences.
Nothing in this life just lands in our lap, so we need to seize every fruitful opportunity that arises on our journey through life.
I am excited to give numerology a go… Opening your mind to new experiences, cultures and ways of thinking is an excellent avenue toward finding wellness and satisfaction.
This life is too short to be a constant skeptic, so always remember to be mindful of other ways of thinking. After all, you could just find the one thing your life has been missing all these years!
